Re: Brake booster mounting

When I upgraded mine to power brakes there was no way I could get it to work with out the bracket. It was to far from the pv, Find a donor truck and take the bracket. I got mine for 40 dollars.

Re: Brake booster mounting

Thanks for the replay...I have brackets I can use, but just wanted to keep try flush mounting the booster...this sucks!!! I've seen a few people do it and I just can't figure out why my dics/disc conversion with the booster bolted to the firewall isn't working!

Re: Brake booster mounting

The pedal will not hold pressure...I have bleed the brakes numerous times, but pedal still goes to the floor...initially with the m/c bolted to the booster, the brakes had too much pressure and I could not move the truck...I adjusted the booster pushrod as much as I could and it relieved pressure...again I bleed the brakes and they hold, but pedal to the floor!

Re: Brake booster mounting

Your not holding pressure, are you bleeding the brakes by your self if so i would have some one help.. several options you have air still in the lines or you have a leak. if you dont see it leaking at all then you have air.
