Re: 6.0 4l80e fuel mileage?
My '71 4wd K5/Blazer with 4" lift, 35" MT tires, locked 4.11 gears, no top ...gets about 10.5 mpg. I've got a LQ9, 4l60E, NP205. I have a medium foot... I like to hear her take off!

Look for some posts by Shon Herron. He is getting 17 or better IIRC Jay

Re: 6.0 4l80e fuel mileage?
Well this isn't in a 67-72 but in my Silverado SS with full time AWD, LQ9, 4l65E and 4.10's I get about 13 MPG in the city and up to 17 on the highway so I would say you should get about the same if not even better because the SS weights almost 5,000 lbs where 67-72 are quite a bit lighter.

Re: 6.0 4l80e fuel mileage?
My dad has an AWD Yukon and he gets about the same, maybe a little less, with a 5.3. 12 in town, 17 on freeway. My buddy on the other hand, had a short regular cab 2wd 04 sierra with a 4.8 and auto, and he would AVG. 19 mpg and I kid you not, he drove that damn thing like it was a racecar! Manually shifting the auto everywhere he went just so he could hear his exhaust (cutout) rev. I know it's a smaller engine but probably a comparable truck weight wise. He had 3.73's and 20's on 40 series tires.
