Lsx ly6 in a 86 chevy truck can it be done?

Have a 2008 6.0/6L80 engine from a 2500 hd complete. Want to put in a 86 Chevy truck. Will disable VVT/DOD and want to convert to DBC, what will i need to get the swap done, will i have to swap out anything? I'm a newb to this so any info will be appreciated. Thanks

Yes, it can be done and a good place to start is right where you are at! Swapping to a LS is pretty involved, research, research and more research will do you lots of good. Start by reading here:
