hmmm..okay...
well maybe you can then tell me how I can access the wires that run from the door through the rubber piece into the car? I want to install speakers into the door, but cant seem to find how I can acces the wires from inside the car...

Re: inspection hatch left of right front wheel?
use the xray goggles that came with the factory service manual.
i believe the wires enter the body cavity just above the dash attachment point from the inside of the cab under the dash. the rest is a PITA Last edited by tobiahr; 03-11-2011 at 03:05 AM. |

Re: inspection hatch left of right front wheel?
the thicker spots are the first to go when the inner fender rusts out around here
some ppl will just weld a patch in there when it goes the speakers (wires are going threw the black tube in pic) look above the e brake, you will see the elect wires come in, above where the dome light wire is same area both sides ive used a coat hanger pushing from inside the door and pulling from inside

Re: inspection hatch left of right front wheel?
He thanks John,
in the mean time I have managed to get the wires through the door. Ik took the inside panel of the door of. And then used full core electrical wire to push through from inside the door into the cabin. Then connected the soft core speaker wire to it and pulled it through. thanks man!
