New truck and new to the forum

Hi guys
I just bought this truck a few weeks back and Im trying to figure out what it actually is I tried searching the Vin and it came up a 61

The Vin is 1001 PG28476A

I checked on this site http://www.6066gmcguy.org and it's looking like a 1963.

Yep, the "G" means it's a 63.

It does have coil in the front and leaf in the back..

Looks like a fun project! The 63's are my favorite because you still have the wrap around windshield but you get the good suspension thats easier to drop!

Mine had clear lenses. Don't know if it is because it was a very early 63 or they were just swapped out over the years.

That thing sure will look pretty when you get her up to speed.

The interior near perfect it only has 14xxx miles "what i was told". It was sitting in a guys yard for the past 30 years tarp up. I got ot for next to nothing but i have to get a title for it. [IMG][/IMG]
