I never realized the trucks came from the factory without a rear bumper. But I guess that explains why there are so many diffrent types of rear bumpers.

those trucks were probably built in a west coast factory since the firewall is body color and not the interior fawn color like most east coast trucks were.

Full Size Trucks were built in both Flint and in Pontiac for the '65 model year. Are you saying they did not get a body colored firewall? I did not know that, if that is the case.

Many of the promotional photos I've seen were taken in Pontiac, because of it's close proximity to Chevy Central Office (in Warren Michigan).

i have been seen trucks that were built in altanta plant that have interior color on the firewalls ? i know fremont and janesville had body color i think also st louis anybody check to see at flint or baltimore or ? mike
