64 SS rear fenders

This truck was given to me as is. The rear fenders are not lined up and don't look like they could be. Personally They look okay to me (at least from a distance) but it's bugging me that somethings not right. Anyone know what may be going on with this set up?

Re: 64 SS rear fenders

Just my two cents but those fender holes rust real bad maybe the po moved them forward and re drilled the fenders because of a rust issue

Those fenders didn't come on that truck. They almost look like something off of a F**d.

Not Chevy fenders is the problem. Still not a bad truck for free.

Re: 64 SS rear fenders

Welcome to the forum 6tfo. As mentioned, those are not the correct fenders. At a glance they appear to be International. If its ever going to fit correctly you need fresh GM fenders.

Re: 64 SS rear fenders

If those are rust free International fenders I am betting some International fan would give you some serious green for them.

You could sell those, buy some oem GM fenders and have some money in your pocket when all is said and done.

But looking at them, they match the front wheel well openings better than the stock GM OEM fenders do!
