Ms. Misery Crash

I don't ever see anything about this truck on here but there's a lot of interest on one of the other sites I go on from time to time.

http://msmisery.com/

Square body, 4x4 (yup, four turnin' and burnin' Tommy Ivo style) outlaw 10.5 drag truck called Ms. Misery. Has to be one of the fastest (if not the fastest) drag racing Squares around.

I guess he wadded it up pretty bad last weekend. Driver was ok and says they're going to rebuild it.

Super rad truck. Bummer it wrecked.

Re: Ms. Misery Crash

Said he hit the wall on a 4.77 pass (1/8th). With something like a 1.16 60 foot time... Insane.

Re: Ms. Misery Crash

That thing is ridiculous!!

Pulled this info off his YouTube channel (missmiseryracing):

541 cid KB OLDS , 60 mm camshaft , 18' dart big cheif head , indy intake , PSI D-Rotor screw blower , waterman fuel pump , msd mag 44 , GRP rods , Ross pistons , crower crankshaft , crower lifters , smith brothers pushrods , dry sump oil system

The specs were posted over a year ago, so he's probably updated/upgraded since then, although I don't know what else you could do to improve a beast like that!

One bad dude, that's fo sho!

I heard this was his first event back after fixing it from the last wreck at the same track. Sucks because that thing is just too cool.

hook up. 4wd vehicles usually hook way harder then a 2wd, except of coarse this exception because it has a stupid amount of power, look up parish silverado perfect example of how hard a 4wd rig hits.absolutely no wheel spin everything gets to the ground. there are multiple others on there of him. but if you wanna test if find somebody with a torquie 4wd truck ( diesel ) and ask to line em up and run a 1/8th mile. unless you have your truck set on kill hook up wise or your most likely cooked lol

Re: Ms. Misery Crash

I've seen that truck a couple of times. 1/2 the time it sets BLAZING passes, the other half (if not more) I see it either have traction issues, or going squirly. Its a sweet truck, just looks like a MONSTER to control.

Re: Ms. Misery Crash

Thanks everyone for the invite to your forum . We will be taking the entire truck apart this weekend and seeing just how severe the damage is . If the main chassis structure is not bent we will be back out in a few months . We was #1 qualifyer at this race but the wreck sure put the brakes on our weekend . Thank you for the support everyone . Here is the et slip from that run . We crashed at 600 ft and still went thru at 4.77

Dang....
Nice time sheet!
What do you think happened?
Oil on the track or she just getting squirrely on you?
Sorry to see that happen! But that's a part of racing.
Hope to see you at Shadyside Dragway soon!

Re: Ms. Misery Crash

That truck is just plane ole sick.
I think they need some more R&D before they go out again. The video from the crash shows he was wrecking from the hit.
Of course those 10.5 guys are nucking futz anyways.

Re: Ms. Misery Crash

Man...that is just a shame. You sure are lucky to walk away from that one....Well maybe that's the reason we build them to follow the SFI specs.
Good luck getting it back together.

Re: Ms. Misery Crash

msmisery,

That was a wicked mishap, Glad you came out unhurt !

Dude you must have brass un's, I never seen/heard you lift before contacting the guard rail !

Never heard of Florahome until I googled it, I'm only 75 miles west of ya. Do you ever run Gainesville Raceway ?

If your able to get it rebuilt I'd LUV to see this badass machine in action up close and personal, That would be awesome....
