copper line?

I have a copper line that connects to the base of the carb and runs to the other side of the motor. I don't remember where it connects to. The line is small 3/16?

Re: copper line?

Hi rr41mag,

What engine?

I know the 230/250/292 family of inline sixes have a 3/16" vacuum line that runs from the base of the carb, around the front of the engine, and connects to the vacuum advance on the distributor. Runs alongside the pump-to-carb fuel line for most of the way. I think the factory ones were steel tubing, but yours could have been replaced with copper sometime over the years.
