I would have said that '61 was the last year they used those wide whitewalls, yet there is a '62 with them in that picture. Maybe it was an early build?? Go figure--learn something new everyday, I guess.

The transport truck kinda' catches my eye...
In '65 my father flew to Detroit quite a few times to drive piggyback's (consisting of GMC tractors from the factory) back to the west coast.
Just think of the new-car-smell goin' on in those trucks....(and cars).
