Picking up 62 swb fleet
Hey My names Andy, I've been on the 67-72 board. Had a 68 c20 50th anniversary truck but just sold it on friday. I'm looking at a 62 swb fleet but I don't see the vin plate on the A pillar. Theres a serial number plate there, is there another place I should be looking? The lady says her mother bought it along time ago in a car lot. She has the pink slip and registeration but wanted to match the vin to pink. Any info will be appreciated. thanks. Will post pics as soon as I can. Thanks again

Re: Picking up 62 swb fleet
Welcome to this side Andy
I don't remember the exact location of the VIN tag in '62 but it should be somewhere in the drivers side door jamb......maybe on the top.

Re: Picking up 62 swb fleet
I've seen the VIN plates on the top of the door jamb. That truck is sweet.

Re: Picking up 62 swb fleet
Andy,
Nice truck. I'm glad to see you got the year you were looking for. To tell you the truth, I'm a little sad that the 50th is gone, but the new one sure is sweet. |
