Some junkyard pics.
Went to pick a part this morning. Only one 67-72 truck. They have a lot of 73 and up and a lot of fords and mopar. 71 or 72 chevy was heavy rusted in rocker panels and corners. Tool box door was also heavy rusted. Here are some pics. Big Buick, Olds and a Corvair.
Pick a part prices are getting up there. I picked up some Qjets at $45 each. They wanted $112 for a complete HEI core, I let them keep that. I was looking for some aluminum drums but didn't find any. There is always a next time. |

Re: Some junkyard pics.
Yeah, PAP and Ecology are both are getting into Barret-Jackson-o-sphere with their prices. Most of the time I tell them to stuff it. That is why I take a trailer behind my camper and do all of my major hunting when I get back to Texas. I just bring home some odds-n-ends and leave the major iron in TX at my homestead. Then, when I get back for good, my projects will start coming to fruition.

The very first time I went I had my 2$ in my hand for the "entrance" fee like they charge u here and the ol' boy behind the counter said "if you wanna pay ME to go in, hell just gimme a Budweiser" so I stuck the dough in my pocket and then I went on in |

Re: Some junkyard pics.
i got 4 trim rings, 2 dogdish hubcaps, a taillight harness, and a chrome shifter for less than $20 at pap last weekend. into69z got a set of buddy buckets out of ecology a few months ago for $12. they have some killer specials if you go on the right day.
