Re: looking for step side fuel filler hose
I'm having the same problem. LMC sells them for fleet side, not stepside. I've tried a fleet side hose and it doesn't have the right bends. I've tried radiator hoses, but the inlet for the tank is a different diameter than the filler neck. You need a hose with different diameter on each end.
Has any stepside owner out there figured out a solution to this? Posted via Mobile Device |

Re: looking for step side fuel filler hose
I think I'm going to have to make something also. I have two hoses that would probably work if I can put them together with some type of 90 and hose clamps.

Re: looking for step side fuel filler hose
You'll def. have to make something to suit. Nobody sells these. I had a heck of a time when I converted to EFI - I basically did the same as samstheman. Use Gates 24717 for 2", 24718 for 2 1/4" and 24719 for 2 1/2". Available at O'Reilly's.

Re: looking for step side fuel filler hose
LMC does not sell them. I have a 87 long bed stepside filler neck sitting around at home. It has the screw in cap. I'll compare it to one of my shortbox stepsides.
