ID help please
I have a 67 lwb C-10. It has a inline 6 with a 5 speed trans and a 12 bolt rea end. How do I find out what size the engine is, how to id the trans and rear end. I don't know where to look and what to look for. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Re: ID help please
A 230/250 will have side covers about 4'' tall, while a 292 they will be closer to 6''. Also, the 292 motor mounts are offset. The right side is like 2'' farther forward than the left.
Hope that helps.

Re: ID help please
Thank you Pritch and Autoblueprint for your information. I am convinced it is a 250 ci just want to get the year. I have bookmarked the links that you each sent. Thank you both. Now to find out what trans I have. I know that the 5 speed was not original to my C-10. Thanks again.
