Heavy duty coil springs.

Does any body know how much higher a truck will sit up in the front with heavy duty coils. I put the wrong ones in my truck. Will be taking then back and getting the light duty ones. I hope this will lower the truck a couple of inches. I need help. I am going crazy.

Re: Heavy duty coil springs.

HD coils will not raise the front end much, if any at all. They have a higher rate than regular coils, but they are not any taller.

Re: Heavy duty coil springs.

Would the higher rate coil hold the truck up higher?

Re: Heavy duty coil springs.

Not enough to notice...certainly not 2" They are stiffer than the regular coils so are rated to handle more weight.
