Re: MY new truck!
These are all 3. This new one is an 87 silverado sbc 350 fuel injected.
The blue one was an 81 custom deluxe sbc 305 and the white one was an 86 scottsdale. sbc 305 The black one I just got has a 350 and I must say, WHAT A DIFFRENCE! |

Re: MY new truck!
Thanks man! I picked it up at an auction in Louisiana.
I had to put a lot of money into the other 2. This one was ready to go! Runs strong! There is a catch though. It has a salvage title but I couldnt see any frame damage. Not sure why it was salvaged. Im not planning on reselling. I love these trucks and I finally got what I want. 87 fuel injected LWB! |

Re: MY new truck!
I appreciate the feedback. Im gonna have to do a car fax on it to see why its salvage. Hope it doesnt affect the value too much but Im sure it probably will.

Re: MY new truck!
I think your moving on up with each purchase. They are all nice, but the latest is the best of the bunch.

Re: MY new truck!
My guess would be flood damage for the salvage.

Re: MY new truck!
Yes. Sold the white one. Not without regrets. I really wanted fuel injected. Dont realy have time for carb. Plus I needed the $ at the time.

Re: MY new truck!
I doubt the rebuilt title will be a big deal tbh. On newer cars with a ton of electronics and unibody construction they scare me. I know to many people who literally take half of two cars and splice them together to ever buy one. On these old trucks you can pretty much see whats going on with them before buying so I don't see an issue.
Nice truck btw. Last edited by thepenguin99; 05-03-2011 at 11:30 PM. |

Re: MY new truck!
Sweet and the best part about tbi is you can run the truck up side down and it will still get fuel
