New Member in San Diego California
Hi everyone!
First off, this website is so COOL! I'm stoked that I found it. Here's why I joined: 1. I have an unexplainable passion for cars yet no true mentors ready and willing to teach me. I figured why not go straight to the guys who live and breathe grease like I wish I would. 2. I'm finishing my senior year in high school and I'll be attending a technical school in September for mechanics. 3. A family friend bought a 1950 GMC pick up and asked me if I'd help her restore it. She's completely in love with the truck so i don't want to disappoint her. 4. I need help/advice/knowledge on what you know about this vehicle so that I can perform it here. Thanks for looking! Welcome! Sounds like a cool project. Do your research especially before you begin the various aspects of the project (you can search this site...) Don't throw away old parts... A camera is a must...helps with the build and pics are a good thing.

Welcome Aboard Thomas !
I did the same as you waaay back in attending a technical trade school for auto repairs, I know it's changed now so better sharpen up on those computer/electrical skills as well. Sounds like a cool project to start with, So just to beat the next poster I'll go ahead and get this out the way;
