Blazer Project

Hey guys,

Some personal issues are forcing the sale of my K5 project. Its an '87 4wd, it is complete, but the engine is shot and I never drove it so I dont know the condition of the drivetrain either. Clear clean title...

Parts I have for it are:

Complete 77 front clip (stock 87 clip has been sold)
77 (or so) 2wd rolling frame.
82 front suspension and rear axle. I was going to swap it before I found the 2wd frame, the front suspension is completely apart and I have all new MOOG parts and energy suspension bushings.
Extra top
2 sets of sliding side windows.
99 Truck front seats (intergrated seat belts)
02 tahoe third row seat (also with belts)

The interior in it is complete, all panels and stock seats are there. I have not torn it completly down, but there is only one rust hole about 3" in diameter in the dr side rocker. The floors are cracked around the rear bolt holes for the front seats, but from what I have seen this is common.

Here are a few pics:

When I got it.

How it sits now:

2wd frame

Other pics are in my build thread here:

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=360303

I would like to get $1500 for the truck, 2wd frame, seats, 77 clip, top and windows.

$2k if you want all the above and the new MOOG/ES suspension parts.

I dont really want to split the big items up, I just need them gone. Open to offers, but what I posted is a loss already. This will make an awesome truck for someone......

Thanks,
Paul

Re: Blazer Project

That top has not ever been off that truck I'm willing to bet. I'd like to keep it there really. I could sell the glass since I have the sliders, but I'd rather leave that to someone that may want the entire project so they can decide which one they want to run.

I'm not intrested in any other projects on trade, but something else I could sell quickly would be of intrest....

Re: Blazer Project

It's a 700R4 with an NP208 if I remember right. I don't know if they work. How does $150 for the trans sound? Cheaper than taking a gamble on one at the pick an pull. Although I don't have a return policy....

Re: Blazer Project

I also want to add by using the earlier frame the front clip swap is basically a bolt-on. The body will also bolt right up, you just use the earlier bushings.

Re: Blazer Project

Everything. Upper and lower balljoints, inner and outer tire rods, idler arm and pitman arm. Energy suspension black poly-graphite control arm, leaf spring and shackle bushings. Edelbrock solid tie rod adjusters. KYB GR2 shocks front/rear.

Not willing to take a loss on these parts. If they don't go with the 2wd frame at least I will keep them for my 78. No matter what that truck is never going anywhere....
Posted via Mobile Device

edit: I will have to look up what I paid for everything but it was at or over $600 for all that. I will include those parts with the project for the above price or with the 2wd frame for $850 for both. I got all the Moog, ES stuff and shocks off amazon since they had the best prices. Its all NIB and like I said I can use it later if need be so I would rather keep it than lose my shirt on the individual suspension parts.

Re: Blazer Project

Alright guys, not trying to be a jerk but this is not a part out thread.

Here is how I will sell things seperate if the entire project dosent sell.

As posted above everything except the 82 suspension stuff $2000

Everything without the New suspension components $1500

2wd frame as pictured $300 with new suspension parts $850

Blazer as pictured (2nd pic), new seats, 77 clip, sliding windows, extra top $1000

Extra top only $FREE

82 suspension components $150 This is a complete front suspension disc to disc, rear axle complete 10 bolt unknown gearing. I did toss all the tie rods and stuff cause they were junk.

This is currently the only way I will seperate things. When the need arises I will break it down further and contact anyone who has intrest in one or two parts. As I said above I am open to offers, but this blazer is too nice to part. Yes it needs work but if I start parting it out it will wind up heading for the crusher and its too nice for that....

bump

Dropping the price on these two options to 1800 for all or 1300 without moog parts. This is the bottom dollar and I cant go any lower....

Will go $125 on the '82 front and rear suspension.

Well, I want to see this thing go to a good home. Open to any offers on the above options. I dont really have to sell it, but I just dont think I will ever have the time to fix it up like I want. Still not ready to part it out though, I will try my luck on craigslist first.

Edit, I will probably keep the new moog front end stuff and shocks since they will work on my truck.

Re: Blazer Project

bump.

Apparently the frame is not a direct bolt up to 78+ bodies. Its a '77 model from the vin stamped on it. I havent done an indepth search, but from looking at the differences, I dont think it will be too much work to get a newer body on the frame.

Re: Blazer Project

Any offers?

Willing to seperate more now, would like to keep the blazer itself and the clip with it whole. Any of the extra parts I will seperate now:

99+ front seats and 02 tahoe third row
Extra top
Sliding Side windows
2wd frame
2wd front and rear suspensions.

I will be keeping the new front end parts and shocks so they are no longer for sale. Everything else except the complete blazer will be hitting craigslist shortly. I will get the clip on it hopefully next weekend and put it up then so its more complete and will get more interest that way....
