1987 sender interchange
Hello, I got my new 87 blazer 25 gallon tank mounted in the back of my 76, but am having a hard time to find a used sending unit, I heard that the 87 trucks used the same as blazer/jimmy ??? are there any other chevs that use it also, just to broden my search. I can buy a new one, but am trying to keep costs down, and thats $150 that I can use else where...
Thanks |

Re: 1987 sender interchange
I got mine for the saddle tank in my '87 from these guys. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/87-88...Q5fAccessories It has been in the truck for a year and half with no issues. So I ordered another one from them to do the tank swap in my crew cab for the 8.1l. They are reasonably priced.

Re: 1987 sender interchange
An AC Delco EP241 (Y and F body TPI) pump is dimensionally the same as a TBI fuel pump so it fits an ’87 sender just like original but can deliver up to 100+ psi when dead headed. It runs my 8.1L perfectly and I don’t have the hassles of a frame mounted pump.
