bellhousing question
Which bellhousing do I need for a 1962 235 switching to a v8, trying to keep the original 4 speed, i see a ton on ebay. They look like the hydraulic clutch opening is on the wrong side. A little help please

you have to find a 60-62 283 b/housing that has the clutch arm opening on the passenger side for the hydraulic clutch if you are looking for the simple way to install it

Yeah thats what I thought, and yes I wanna do it the easy way, havent been able to find one. Any repro's that fit? How about some casting #'s?

you just have to look. try ebay as they do show up there once in awhile
