Re: why do I keep trying to sell it?

don't know.... I get frustrated when **** goes wrong and Craigslist is too easy to post **** on. I know if I sell it, I would be pissed once it was gone.
Like I said, I think I need therapy HAHA!

I considered selling mine several years ago, but I'll keep it as long as I'm around because it is my therapy!

Paid therapy comes after we sell our trucks, theyre so much a part of us and we don't realize it until theyre gone...

Re: why do I keep trying to sell it?

I have had mine over 22 years, I have thought about selling it probably once a week since. Used to be, I kept it to iritate the ex wife, now I do cuz I got it very close to where I have always wanted it. also it is a very dependable driver and gets decent fuel mileage for an old bugger.

Re: why do I keep trying to sell it?

Stick it out. You never regret selling something that you still have. My '63 drives the wife crazy but I've learned from selling other vehicles ('64 Imp SS, '57 Napco 1 ton you get the point) that the regret of selling something that you've poured your time into sets in shortly after it's gone and can last long after the money's evaporated.

Re: why do I keep trying to sell it?

Depression is a big part of the problem this time of the year in the Northwest..
Sometimes...in the middle of the winter...rainin' like hell, with road-spray blowing twenty feet in the air and curling up under every body panel and coating the chrome and carefully placed paint with with scum....you see the victim behind the tinted glass (or slumped behind the ape-hangers) sometimes with the throttle mashed through the floor mats...just takin' his medicine, tryin to pull his head out of his @$$ so he (or she) can make it 'till the sun shines again.
Most folks in other parts wouldn't think of pullin' their pride and joy out from under cover in that kind of weather, knowing what it takes to get it to sparkle again. Sometimes you'll see the fella on his custom bike....soakin' wet and sufferin' terrible wind-chill and all frost-bit up
Don't be sellin' your medicine, evo... Your head's just goin' through that seasonal assault. That's just one of the wicked symptoms that you deal with every year....Ya' just needed someone to talk ya' down off that perverbial bridge.
Us folks here at the west end of the Gorge got a dry day yesterday and the sun is actually shining fairly strong through the clouds this mornin'...

Keep it! You'll regret it once it's gone.

Re: why do I keep trying to sell it?

My theory is when they are paid for they are way cheaper to fix than another payment and i can buy a whole lot of gas for $500. Mine sits in the garage and i wouldnt even think about selling it.

Re: why do I keep trying to sell it?

That weather improvement sure did end in the middle of the night...
It's grey & ugly.....and kinda' sad.

What was that I was tellin' you that made you so cheerful yesterday, Evo..?

OH.....Right,.......

I'm emptyin' the five gallon can of fuel that I picked up to mow the lawn into the '63.

...........I'm goin' fer a ride.
