transmission question
what do you call that thing that your speedometer cable hooks up to in the transmission. thanks

The cable "insert" (the part that spins) inserts into the driven gear, the cable sheathing attaches to the "sleeve". The sleeve is connected to the tail shaft housing.

And the leg bone is connected to the thight bone, and the thight bone.... He may be referring to the adaptor that changes the ratio to compensate for gear ratio, and tire size. The adaptor is between the speedo cable, and the tail shaft housing.
