wheel housing inside box
Lowering the back of my 50 and am going to pull my back wheels in 1 inch plus. With that pull in there isn't going to be much clearance to the box sides. I have seen some, I guess I would call them tub covers that were stock and only came into the inside of the box 2-3" but I don't know where I have seen them. Any help would be super.

Re: wheel housing inside box
I am doing the same thing, didnt want a huge wheel tub, just 3-4 inches...so...I was at the local trailer shop, I had him order a set of tandem fenders for me.. and in the corner he has about 6 pairs of single axle fenders. a little rusty, so I picked out a almost new set for $20...i'm just going to cut down the middle or so, and use only one side... one side has a kinda curved lip, the other is flat. I am using both curved lips, and what ever metal i cut out of the bed side will be used to close in the wheel tub.
so try that, or I'll have a set of 2-3 " fenders i can send ya.( you will have to weld them up) just pay the shipping. local tractor supply should have them too pics if you want Last edited by skip99; 06-14-2011 at 07:30 PM. |
