HELP: 1" front, 3" rear drop...stock or lowering shocks?
hey all...just got a set of new 1" front, 3" rear drop springs off craigslist. im plannin on throwin them on my 63 C20, and they came with a set of shocks for the front, but none for the rear...?...my question is: i havent been able to find a rear set of shocks for a 3" drop...so, can i use stock rear shocks with the drop springs, or do i need the front lowering shocks as well as a set of rear lowering shocks to work with the springs?

front can be stock. I would use the stock rears and see if they are OK.
1 more thing, you realize the front and/or rear really wont drop much because of the stock springs being 40+ years old they already sag some. just food for thought is all.

The stock shocks... although might not be ideal will work because they are intended to work within that vehicles full suspension travel to the bumpstops.... if you modified the stops or C notched, then you are looking at a different shock for sure.
