so my mufflers dump just before the front of the rear fenderwell exit underneath and I would like for the pipe to come out the bottom side of the bed in front of the rear wheels not under the bed like most all do but kind frenched in I guess? anybody know how to do this or have done it?

It's been done...I'm sure if you google image searched enough you would be able to find some pictures. You'd have problems with it making the bed vibrate though. I'm not really sure what you're asking either...I mean, cut a hole in the bedside, route the exhaust through it, cut it so that it's semi flush with the bedside, weld it in, grind it flush, and paint over. What's to figure out? Lol

im trying to figure out how people have the exhaust with this chrome ring somehow mounted to the pipe and bolted to thier sheetmetal and were I would get a tip like that? im trying to get this done without having to weld and paint on my bed

Ah, I see. I don't know about that, never seen 'em before, may be custom pieces but I'm not sure. Google's your friend. You could also get ahold of a local machine shop and have them quote you on making some for ya.

Somebody sells those. I saw them intalled on an episode of Trucks one time. They are pretty cool.

yeah, they're pretty expensive...they got 2 other styles as well. its probably a lot cheaper to do it yourself.

got them done! will post pics when its light out and finish the how to, one side im going to redo and the other seems fine to me but its so much quieter inside and so nice sounding on the outside now
