Chevy 230 6 to 350 swap

Hey this is my first thread on this site. My question is what all do i have to do and what do i need for this swap. I have a 65 c10 shortbed fleetside with the 3 speed manual trans and the 230. I have the new mounts but what else will i need to do will the 10 1/2 clutch work on the 350? I heard everything should bolt up and is a pretty easy install also , will the 6 cylinder starter work on the v8 because it bolts through the bellhousing on the six. Just wanted to know how to do this swap as far as every thing i need and i hope the 3 speed will hold up to the 350. Thanks

Re: Chevy 230 6 to 350 swap

You might have to use the 6 banger flywheel, count the teeth on the ring gear, needs to be the same as the 6 cyl one to use the 6 cyl starter. On my 250 it had the same size flywheel as the 350 so I was good to go(I used a 350 flywheel on my 454).
