Re: Spokane Swap Meet Today
And here were some related parts. A couple of 4 headlight Chevy grilles and some GMC headlight rims:
And these customized step side fenders with what appeared to be molded 1950 Buick tail lights and J.C. Whitney or Cal Custom bolt-on louvers on the side of the steps. If anybody is interested, the cardboard sign belongs to the guy selling the fenders. The business card reads OLD SCHOOL PARTS, 60-66 Chevy/GMC, Lyle Davy and the phone number is 208.597.5456. Since it’s a 208 area code I assume he lives somewhere in Idaho. |

Re: Spokane Swap Meet Today
Was it the same guy with the grilles and headlight rings as the fenders? I need a chrome GMC headlight ring!

Re: Spokane Swap Meet Today
Sorry no. The grilles/rings were in the open grass area on the other side of the fairgrounds.

Re: Spokane Swap Meet Today
I needed that lyles # when I was in cardalane!
I had some money burning a hole in my pocket, and had remembered he was up there from some of his craigslist ads... couldn't find it then... I am writing it down for next time!

Re: Spokane Swap Meet Today
I was there today also.
That blue '65 stepside was a very nice truck. Too bad he didn't enter it in the show. When I was almost there this morning, there was a nice truck ahead of me. But he just pulled into the parking lot and, stytopped to talk to someone and then left. It was a white '60-'62 extended cab, with a '90's sportside bed, and a big truck grill. I've never seen that one before and was hoping to get a better look. Yeah, Lyle Davy lives up in Bonners Ferry
