My First Squarebody
Long time reader, first time poster. I Picked up this 1975 C10 350/350 last month after having a half-dozen 67-72 Trucks and a Blazer.
Girlfriend said she wouldn't sit on the nappy old seat so thanks to LMC and her generosity the first easy project is done. Just picked up a 5.3 today for another LS swap thread to follow Thanks for checking out "Ruby" |

Re: My First Squarebody
Cool looking truck and a nice girlfriend to help you with the project!
Red is the way to go and LS definitly is too! What did you pay for the engine and what tranny do you plan to use?

Re: My First Squarebody
I picked up a high mile 5.3 out of a 2002 rollover for 650, All wiring and accessories. Buddy flashed my computer for 50 bucks. Paid 150 for a 700r4 off craigslist, may or may not work, but at least I've got the core covered and a working th350 as a backup.
After I take my last final on Monday i have to take out the LT1swaps list and route the wiring harness up. Otherwises sticking with stock manifolds, external pump yada yada. I'll post pics as soon as the front clip is off and I am running. I've bookmarked about 20 websites and threads to cut down on repeat questions and I'll post a link of my bookmarks when ready. D-day is Aug 31st Wish me luck PS anyone need a 350 cubic inch boat anchor? |

Re: My First Squarebody
Some pics of the project coming together. If you are looking at the motor on the wagon and trying to figure out a drive system for it, don't worry the thought flashed through my head too.

Re: My First Squarebody
You could get a drive from a boat or toronado to power the wagon.
