Re: Looking for a 59 apache

What kind of price range are you looking at. A 59 all original, straight body, short fleet side could be pricey running or not. If it has bed trim that's fixable add $1800 to what ever the truck is actually worth. Big window Custom cab short fleet with bed trim could go for $4500 and still need a lot of work.

Check San Diego Craigls List. I see them here offten. If you see something in my area I'd be glad to take a close critical look at it for you.

Re: Looking for a 59 apache

If you check the Houston Craigslist today you would fine 5 trucks listed with one of them in Tomball for $2,000. Is that close enough?

Re: Looking for a 59 apache

Your looking for the needle in the hay stack. They are out there. It took me 5 or 6 years to find mine and ended up going up near OK to get it.

Unfortunately mine is not for sale but they are out there, I paid about $2400 5 or 6 years ago when prices were still at the pre Barrett-Jackson prices and not the crazy money people want today. The price I paid included transport from Bonham Texas to Houston and the guy thought he hit the jackpot at that price. I don't think he realized the relative rarity of a 59 short bed, big window, Custom cab with the bed trim in real good shape.
