Lower Control Arms
I have put a 82 C10 front crossmember on my 66 GMC and have ordered my upper control arms and 3 inch drop spindles. However I can't find any lower control arms. Everyone only seams to make them for C20 and up which makes no sense to me. I can get AC Delco from my local parts store but they want 369.00 each. Can anyone tell me if the ones from a C20 of the same year model will work or if there is anything else that will work without spending an arm and a leg?

Re: Lower Control Arms
C20 lower a-arms won't work.
The ball joint hole is too big. Any 73-87 1/2-ton truck or 73-91 1/2-ton suburban lower arm will work. Even the 67-72 arms will work with the correct ball joint installed.

Re: Lower Control Arms
Why not use your original 66 lower a-arms?
Install a 71-87 lower ball joint and be done.
