1/2ton till 3/4ton or 1 ton spindels
Is it posibel to bolt on 3/4 or 1 ton spindels on the front axle of A 1/2 ton truck. I have A 1972 GMC 1/2 ton truck and like to make it look like A dually.

You will need to swap the lower a-arms to 3/4-ton a-arms.
(bigger ball joint hole) Then just add the correct balljoint for the correct year spindles you are using. The outer tie rods will be different also.

Re: 1/2ton till 3/4ton or 1 ton spindels
When dealing with steering and front end component it's not a good idea to modify major components. First you would have to machine the hole on the proper angle so the taper fit exact. If you were closer I would give you everything you need. I have 3/4 ton front spindles and lower a arms with brand new ball joints that you could have. Oh and the steering linkage is larger on the c20 front end I'm pretty sure.
