Light switch removal
Can someone please tell me how to remove the knob on the light switch? The knob for the windshield wipers had a set screw, but I see nothing like that for the lights. The truck is a 72 if that makes any difference.
Thanks!

Re: Light switch removal
If, you get a new switch, you will see a small button, with a spring under it. The switch in your truck has one also. Pull the headlight switch out, and push down on the button and pull. The knob/rod will com out, and then you can unscrew the nut that holds the switch in. HTH

Re: Light switch removal
Reach on the back of the switch and you'll feel a spring loaded button. Press it while pulling on the knob. It will release the knob.
