C10 2wd to 4wd help
Hey all new to this site just bought a 1970 C10 not too long ago. No rush in doing so but I would like to do a 4wd conversion in the near future and trying to get any helpful input. I looked through some of the builds and they are helpful but though I would post up and ask for myself, but if anyone has any great build links (That i may have missed) they could shoot over that would be cool.
but back to the truck it is a 1970 C10 coil springs all around. I have a 14 bolt rear end, 10 bolt front axle, and a np203. I have a welder and enough fabrication skills to weld up any brackets, etc I know that it would be easier to buy a 4wd frame and convert everything over but I would like to do it using my existing frame. Maybe 4 link the front and rear? I have the heim joints and extra dom tubing laying around. But any input is much appreciated. Thanks |

Re: C10 2wd to 4wd help
Maybe someone can answer this question.
If i do decide to go the route of getting a 4 wheel drive frame and switching everything over. What frames would work under a 1970 C10 body? Thanks in advance |

There is a lot of info here in this forum about what you are wanting to do. Just go back through the posts, I am sure you will find the information you are needing. Any 67-72 will work with a 70. The 71-72's would be your best bet.
