pix for ScottH, 65 c-10
This is the one that was complete and driving but i was offered some big bucks for the motor and trans and the doors. The cab, front clip and hood are rust free, with the interior completely redone, seat perfect and the rest gone thru, painted and dash is great. It does have, unknown tilt column with key, but i have an original 66 auto column.
The cab and front clip came out of OK, with title, frame and bed out of virginia , bed has some rust along parting line down the sides, wire wheel and seal, be fine, drivers side has a crease, no bed wood but bed is in good shape, has disc brake conversion on front but I am going to swap out the front end with my new 66. here are the pix, Steve |

Re: pix for ScottH, 65 c-10
not sure, winding down from almost of 6 months of clearing and selling my stuff, all done myself. You will have first dibs on the van. The 63-66 parts i have to be honest I have had big buck offers, really big from a guy who has given me some really rare stuff for free, for my 55 GMC safari or camio or what ever, brain farts. So on that he has first, you second. I have everything to put that on the road but the only 2 things I am going to work on are my 78 blazer and the 66 I just bought. I am going to finish moving some stuff so I can get to the rare stuff that is packed in the van and then finally work on my stuff inside. That will be the first time in 3 years.
I got rid of 52,000 pounds of scrap, which included many good parts but i only kept the perfect stuff and sold the almost perfect stuff, the rest went to scrap. I hate selling small stuff or one or two parts here and there. Becomes way too much of a hassle trying to keep everybody straight. Did well with a few people who bought a few thousand dollars worth of stuff at a time. Steve |
