Question Custom fender emblem sugestions

I'm trying to decide on a place to have a set of custom fender emblems that will look close to OEM for my 1 ton any suggestions are welcome, what I want for a finished product would look like a stock 70's Scottsdale or Silverado 30 with the International Harvester "IH" or International trucks diamond logo in the place of the "sun" square and the addition of a small 7.3l under the IH logo
here's the stock ones I want to replace with the custom ones I described.

any ideas on who to contact about making these or any other ideas for custom emblems that may look stock on my truck please let me know. thanks

If you have access to a mill, you could machine the sun flat and place something in its place.

eh the chrome on them ain't in the best of shape so at the point that I'm replacing them why not have a set made to look and feel stock and be machined custom to resemble what is being done to the truck (International 7.3L swap) without making it too obvious looking at the truck setting there for the people who arn't Square body people and to make the ones who are to get thinking,

I think it would be cool if you kept the Scottsdale text, replaced the sun with the IH logo, and replaced the 30 with 7.3

your best bet would be to google places that have a water jet machine to cut it out of steel and then send it to a chrome place... it will be very expensive

I'll have to see if Mekdad still has his machine shop. I want him to build me some emblems for my 76 too. I'll see if I can find his number. Ryan.

Talking Re: Custom fender emblem sugestions

contacted Billet Badges for a quote on the emblems so I'll wait to hear back from them but I would really like to find some place closer to home also, and atleast I have a definite idea of what I want so it represents what I am customizing on the truck that won't be visible most of the time and still to anyone who don't know better the emblems won't look out of the ordinary or modified on the 75 front clip that is going on my 85 K30 CC LWB drw

Re: Custom fender emblem sugestions

The only thing about billet badges is that he won't use trademark names in his badges and can kind of suck if that's what you want. But he does make sweet badges. He made some for a few ford cummins trucks I did and they turned out great.
