I think I want a 2/4 drop... how would you rate this kit?
I was thinking that I want to drop my truck a little more, i wanna do a 2/4 drop but I found a kit that's 2.5/4 drop. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/MMC-93129/
Will this kit be okay? Would my back end stick up a little more than the front?

That does not appear to be the correct kit. If I were only after a 2/4 I would cut one coil from the stock front spring and do a shackle/hanger kit in the rear.

Agreed, cutting one round off of the bottom of the front coil springs will give you the 2in you want and the shackles/hangers for the rear will give you the 4in for much cheaper than a full kit.

Would this make it ride really rough? I have heard that cutting the coil would make it ride rough. This is my Daily Driver so I really can't afford it to ride really rough. Maybe I should leave it at the height it is.

It will ride just fine as long as you cut out the bump stops. This pic is mine with one round cut off the front coils.

Okay, cool, I may do some research on how to do this so I am more familiar. I already have drop shackles in the back so then all I would needs is hangers I guess.

Best way to cut the spring is with a cutting wheel or a saws all, not a torch.

Instead of cutting the springs just buy a set of 2" drop springs, it is cheaper than drop spindles for the front and if you have never cut springs it is much smarter and safer.

You truck guys can get away with shackles/hangers. I can only do shackles for a 2" drop. Leaf springs or flip kit for 4" drop. I've got a 2dr Hoe, and there ain't much out there.

Re: I think I want a 2/4 drop... how would you rate this kit?
Do you want opinions, or facts? If you want facts, here they are. You can cut one coil from a stock front spring that is in good condition and you will get 1.5 to 2" of drop depending on how much it has sagged already. It will ride firmer that stock, but will not be harsh. You may need to trim your bump stop rubbers depending on your current shocks condition and tire height.
With that said, my first choice would be to buy 2" or 3" spindles and do the springs later if you want more. Spindles are the best way to lower the front especially if you do not want to change the ride firmness. For the rear, you can buy a aftermarket hanger, or remove the rivits and move the stock hanger up 1.5" and drill new holes. If you can find a Burb hanger you won't have to trim the top off. Good luck with it.
