driver side firewall tub? wiring harness placement?
i am tubbing my firewall on my 79 c10 to lay body on 24 and i was wondering if anyone had any pics of what they did with the factory wiring harness that goes through the firewall on the driver side? any advise or pics would be greatly appreciated. i want to get my truck on the road.

On mine I just cut the box location out from the firewall and moved it over a couple inches...

Just realized u said ur tubbing the firewall too. Idk how much room ur tub will take up so u may or may not b able to do it this way. I have a PB dropmember on mine so I didn't have to tub it...

thanks man, and i do believe i may be able to move the original square up and over to clear my tub. i would have just bought a crossmember but my frame is already z'd. thanks for your help a bunch.

now i think i am going to have to notch my cowl hood to clear the engine. i bought a cowl thinking it would clear when a stock hood wouldnt. guess what? they are the same underneith. any good word on what to do here?

No prob man. As for the hood, I don't have mine on yet but I do know ill need a cowl too. Just trim out the bracing that's in the center of the hood till it clears

Trucks with clearence issues do it all the time. U only need to cut the bracing out of the cowl part where ur aircleaner would b

im running a 5.3 in it and as it looks its gonna be quit a bit of cutting. i hate cutting up ba
