rear axle shaft interchange
Will a 73--87 chevy c10 axle shaft be a direct fit to a 1965 c10 with a 12 bolt? Does it matter if it is a 12 bolt or 10 bolt axle? Thanks guys for all the great information I get on this forum!

They are wider. You can buy conversion 5-lug axles for your '65 rearend from companies like Early Classic Enterprises or Moser Engineering.
