Re: dual front shocks?

I don't believe dual shocks were offered until later years (or PO installed). I may be wrong, but most I've seen have been single shock,

I'm kinda like duct tape- no real purpose, but handy to have around.

I own and have had many GM light duty trucks. I have bought a bunch of 30 series 4x4's new and used and plenty of the other models. The only one I had with the quad front shocks was my 1983 K20 Suburban. It really wasn't even noticeable. I have not seen many with the factory option personally.

Funny. My '83 K20 pickup has dual front shocks as well.

Ok, after some research, I couldn't find much other than they were made standard in 1981 on ALL K-series trucks. I think they were standard on '81-'83 K-series trucks and on '84+ it was optional. I've never seen an '81-'83 4x4 without them. Someone, if I'm wrong, please show me. I don't want to spread misinformation, this is just what I found.

Re: dual front shocks?

Seems like we built a lot of them.

I remember seeing them often on the chassis line and on company owned trucks.
