Re: 85 project
Im going to sandblast the frame put disc brakes on the rear replace the arms upper and lower with the 3" djm ones I got and 4" hangers and shackles. I got the kbs frame paint kit gloss black.
When I get the frame done im going to sandblast under my cab and bed and coat them with bed liner. I dont know about the motor I was looking at jegs at the 383 420hp. A new painless wiring harness. Can't decide on a color keep it the same, the new camaro synergy green metallic, metallic blue. And for the wheels?? front 20x8 rears 22x10 or 22x12 I just dont know what it will look like. |

Re: 85 project
Sounds like a good plan. BTW, I think the truck looks good with the current color.

Re: 85 project
I dont know want they did to it but it has a cut in it by the nose. My son and I sanded it down to rework it. But when we got the bondo off we found the cut. I was going to weld it and finish it but got a new one. It needs to be bondo around the scoop and the cut welded up. And I will part with it.
