Unhappy Question

Greetings!

My wife is getting on me about getting a new/newer truck (96 GMC). The problem I have is the new ones are all automatics and I cannot stand driving automatics. How much do you think it would be to convert it to a 6-speed manual with all the necessary equipment? Also many of you have some nice dropped rides. How much does that cost and if it is not too radical does it still leave enough clearance for really bad dirt roads in the mountains. It seems most newer trucks are 6-12 inches higher than mine and mine has no problems.

Thanks in advance for any information.

Cheers,
Barry

Re: Question

Hi Barry. That sounds expensive. I'm no expert so here's bump for you.

Some people are like Slinkies... not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
