Alan Grove brackets
Test fitted my Alan Grove brackets today. Since I don't have bolt holes in the heads of the '65 corvette 327 I picked up, I put these brackets on. They worked out very well and I was impressed enough that I might put them on my 383 as well. Now I have to decide if I am going to powder coat or plate them. The engine is dusty from sitting in storage, but rebuilt. Got a suprise when I found that one of the bottom holes in the block was stripped out. Thank goodness for heli-coils.

Re: Alan Grove brackets
I purchased Alan Grove brackets back in 2000 and had them powder coated before installation. Other than grime from use, they look like new when cleaned up. Since the metal is so thick it really heats up nicely and does a great job curing the powder paint. Plating would certainly add more sparkle if it's in the budget.

Re: Alan Grove brackets
I'm talking zinc plate vs powder coating. I can do either one of those two at no cost.

Re: Alan Grove brackets
I really like the brackets, did you buy it as a kit?
