Hi, there were several reasons, one is TAX, about 80% of our income went to the Goverment, add 8 Dollars a gallon on gas, 19% VAT (Sales tax) and why keep working. Holland (Netherlands) is a real small country, Texas is 18 times bigger and Holland has 16 million people, so over crowded, no space anymore and is has a climate like Chicago, we needed more sun. Hollands is very socialised, what means that the Government takes care of everything what also means that you not allowed to do much and everything gets over regulated, bit was Obama wants here ;-(
