My 100 buck junkyard score!

Managed to snag just about everything for a big block serpentine setup! But here's where it gets interesting, instead of just ONE truck having a 454 serp setup...there was two!! I took one and my brother took the other! I got the hydroboost power steering pump, freaking brand new remaned alternator, brackets, a/c compressor(i thikn thats the right name), reverse flow water pump, the water neck from the intake manifold, and the crank pulley. Not only that but also the aluminum valve covers!

I'll be cleaning it up, spray the brackets a nice cast aluminum color, the valve covers will be restored to like new condition. Get a new hose(s) and a belt, then keep the one that was on it before as an emergency replacement (in decent shape).

Am I allowed to post an ebay link without being a vendor? My brother is going to be selling his serp setup for a few hundered, i just want to make sure its safe to post it before i do.

On a side note can somebody point me in the right direction for wiring the alternator? It's the kind that uses like a weatherpak connector or something. 3 wire coming out the back, 2 small and 1 big. I already know what to do with the batt wire (kinda obvious)

You do need to be a subscriber to sell or link items. Thank you for asking. It looks like you did good. Which yard did you go to?

I went to the Tacoma Pick-N-Pull, and thanks for the answer, always best to play things safe. I'm pretty psyched about this all, I love serpentine setups, especially factory ones!

Yea I was there once when they were filling in a new row and instantly anything that came in got hit immediately by at least 5 people. Yea they're still charging a buck to get in.
