Correct me if I am wrong but isn't that for the tranny torque convertor lockup.

Manual tranny then you wont need it.

Well then in that case Im going to remove those brackets from my engine bay. Any idea where the wiring goes so I can cut it out completely?

The passengerside one is for the ESC. You can remove the wiring and the entire ECM. The ECM is behind the glove box. The driverside is for torque converter lockup. You can remove itfor a stall converter or manual transmission.
