limited slip
hey ! I'm heading to the scrap yards and searching for parts lately , as of now I am looking for a limited slip rear end to put in my 86 C 10 . I have a noob question though. how can I identify a limited slip rear end just by looking at it. all i know is that i need a 5 bolt hub limited slip rear end that'll fit my tuck. any help ?

Re: limited slip
Spin one of the rear tires. If the other week spins the other way than it's open diff. If the wheels spin the same way it's a posi/limited slip.
Put truck in neutral btw Posted via Mobile Device

Re: limited slip
Scrap yard all the cars are up on blocks. Or rims welded togeather. Never been to one where the cars where just on the floor
