Finally wired my power doors and mirrors

I put these doors on my truck off a 91 suburban with power mirrors about a year ago. I finally got them wired up. The mirror and door harness were cut so I got the door harness off another truck and made my own mirror harness with spare wire.

Re: Finally wired my power doors and mirrors

nice man! I got lazy and cut the mirror and lock wiring completely out of my burb doors. Now that I think about it, I probably should of wired them up too! I just have my windows wired and I did a half assed job. Your harness looks pretty good!

If you look at all that loose wiring coming from my door, that's all the wires. No connectors, all soldered together and ran across the engine bay. One of these days I plan on doing it right lol.

Yeah I got tired of having to reach over to open the Windows. Seth how do you have power to the doors. That's quick way to do it for sure. I cut holes on the cab when I had the doors off.

Re: Finally wired my power doors and mirrors

I put a relay on my door, and ran all the wires from the main switch over to the pass. side switch, then ran the main power through a hole in the firewall and hooked it to a terminal on the fuse box.
