Lose a leaf, change the shock?

Remember, I'm a old newbie, so be gentle...

Regarding my 3/4 ton, to lower it a bit, I'm considering removing a leaf from both front and back stacks.

1. Which leaf do you suggest a guy remove?
2. After removing a leaf, will I need to replace my shocks with ones of a different size?

Remove the smallest one first. I doubt it'll lower it much though. You MAY need to remove more to get it where you want it. Some guys remove every other one. Unless you're loading it heavily (and you might since it's a 3/4 ton(?) you may not notice anything but a BETTER ride.

The shocks are designed to handle full travel -- all the way to the positive rubber stop -- so they should not need changed. In general, if they don't bottom out at full travel (up or down) you are OK.
