Brake line length?

Can anyone tell me the length of the hard brake line that runs from the passenger side to the t union on the drivers side? I can't get the line to stop leaking where it connects to the rubber line, so I am goIng to bend up a new one and see if it will stop the leak. I believe it is a 1972 front end on a 70 truck. Thanks

Re: Brake line length?

i'd take the old one off and make my new one to length before i'd ever trust a measurement from a guy online. that way i'd only need to make one brake line

And even at that, if it's leaking at the connection, I'd just try to reflare it before re-doing the whole thing...or even replace the rubber line 1st if you haven't already.

Re: Brake line length?

Yeah i replaced the rubber line as it was cracked at the flare. I was just hoping to get the line on my way home from work. Oh well guess I will just go home first.
