Re: rear end width
I'd like to know this too, I have access to a 62" wide with disc brake setup out of a 89 transam. Curious if anyone else has tackled anything of this sort.

Re: rear end width
The hub-to-hub distance is 67". The distance between spring centers(leaf springs),is 42.5"
The trans am rear end would have to be modified, and may still be too light duty to work. It may fit on the trucks that have coil spring rear end ,but it would still take some work. Usually, fittingwide tires calls for tubbing the bed, modifying the frame, and flaring the wheel opening, even with a 4-arm trac setup.
